I live in Northern Mississippi with my husband and 2 children. My daughter Maren and I love to trail ride. This works out well during football season! I've ridden horses all my life, and owned my own off and on when finances permitted. I'd gone horseless for about 20 years though, waiting impatiently for my own place to keep them. My 10 year anniversary present from my husband was Beauty, a little black saddlehorse mare that has now been stolen by my daughter. In 2007 I found Fire! a 15.3 TWH straight out of the show ring...but he's taking to the trails nicely and we all love the big guy. We collect dogs and cats, own a couple of brush eating goats, and enjoy our 140 acre wooded property that adjoins the National Forest. Maren and I take a few horse-camping trips a year and enjoy riding with friends nearby and on our own property the rest of the time. I feel more blessed than I can express, to enjoy creation from the back of a horse. God is good.
